Random black cats may be an unwelcome sight for some people, but not in this case.

A black cat invaded the field in a Sunday afternoon match between Australian rugby league teams the Penrith Panthers and the Cronulla Sharks.

The cat turned out to be a pleasant distraction for fans, as home team the Panthers lost 26-10 to league leaders the Sharks.Anyway, enough about sportsball, here is the majestic feline that will become the hero of your hearts.

It isn’t clear what happened to our new favourite black cat since Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, as it left the field promptly after its brief adventure in professional sports.

The moment inspired its very own Twitter account and plenty of commentary online. It’s clear, the fans want more cats.

OK, here is one more photo of the black cat.

Shelter Takes Dogs Out For Puppuccinos To Find Them New Families

Shelter dogs tend to lead quite depressing lives waiting for their forever human to come and pick them up, so the Kitsap Humane Society in Washington is taking their pooches for coffee to make them feel better.

The shelter’s volunteer Molly Clark takes one of the dogs to Starbucks for a Puppuccino (a small cup of whipped cream) every Tuesday. Not only do the dogs get a delicious treat, they also get a chance to change environment at least for a while and enjoy a car ride. “They love it! Molly only select dogs who will not be stressed by the experience” the rescue’s Rebekah Johnson told Bored Panda. “However, Molly will bring Puppuccino’s back to the shelter to dogs who are unable to leave the shelter. There is no “one size fits all” shelter experience and KHS’ staff and volunteers goes to great lengths to ensure that each animal here at KHS receives individualized care and attention.” The local Starbucks also posts signs about the dog of the week to help the pooch find a home.

“[We use] the adorable pictures of them lapping up yummy whipped cream to give them exposure on social media to potential adopters!”

The local Starbucks also posts signs about the dog of the week to help the pups find a home!

This Cat Comes To University

While therapy dogs are in the spotlight, this ginger kitty is bringing comfort to lucky university students without any training whatsoever. Known as the “Campus cat,” the feline comes to the University of Augsburg every day to help students relax by offering them cuddles.

“Caring about the students is the main goal of the Campus cat besides sleeping, sleeping, sleeping,” Andreas, Campus Cat Secretary, told Bored Panda. “Also the cat walks all around the campus to really see all students from every faculty. A lot of students say Campus Cat helps to relax or chill before tests, papers, exams.” The ginger is always there. And he has a home, too, and is well cared for! He just really wants to take some pressure off the students’ chests. Good kitty!

Hilarious Emergencies Dogs Would Have If They Could Dial 911

When you hear about a dog calling 911, it’s usually because their owner is having an emergency. But what would happen if a dog called 911 with it’s OWN idea of a crisis?

That’s the question that went through the mind of Twitter user Reverend Scott, and he’s come up with some pretty funny answers. The “emergencies” range from trying to retrieve a ball from under the couch and not being able to eat chocolate on Valentine’s Day, to having a panic attack about being left at home. Given that the 911 operator is also a dog, the advice is often far from useful…
